Have you ever wondered what you’d look like on the cover of a book? Wonder no more, because I’ve volunteered my own face for yours (and my own) amusement.
Seriously, I still can’t stop laughing at how bad the following photos are. 😛
You all know the wonders of Snapchat face swap — if you haven’t heard of it before, then you better google it or download the app pronto because face swap is absolutely hilarious. Yes, it occasionally gets it quite right, but 8 out of 10 times it gets it very, very wrong.
Sorry if this gives you nightmares, apparently it gave my workmate nightmares as she saw this on my Insta before she went to bed. #sorrynotsorry
Here’s my attempt at book face swap.
1. The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
You know what, this one isn’t actually too bad — it was actually quite a good, clean, sharp face swap as everything fit within the face.
2. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
HAHAHA look at my tiny little face, I look quite shocked that the app actually managed the swap. But it is the stuff of nightmares.
3. Storm by Brigid Kemmerer
I am actually speechless…I think blue suits me!
4. The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff
And last but not least, I saved the best one for the ultimate reveal. JUST LOOK AT MY FACE! Look how smug I look, I don’t even know why!! I don’t even know what to say about the face that replaced mine…*shudders*
Well there you have it, hope this gave you a laugh and not nightmares! Let me know if you’d like to see more crazy face swaps, and if there’s a particular book you want me to face swap with!
