Third Sentence Thursday is a meme hosted by book blog That’s What She Read, where bloggers open the book they are currently reading to a random page and share the third full sentence with their blog readers.

So I’ve been in a reading slump this week as I’ve been busy working late nights and having no motivation to really read. When I get home, I just want to relax, and mostly just sleep. SO, while I don’t usually do memes (like hardly ever), I thought that rather than feel unmotivated in blogging as well, I’ll just do something different!
So the lucky book chosen of my first Third Sentence Thursday is Tape by Steven Camden.
Here we go…choosing random page………now.
“She can hear her own breathing. The voices carry on and she creeps up the stairs, tiptoeing on the edge.” (p. 92)
“He moved to the top corner of the garden and tried to see through the crack where the fences met.” (p. 165)
And once more.
“-That’s stupid. Just deck him, Deano.” (p. 258)

So what did you think? Were the snippets interesting enough for you to pick up the book?
