Movie Trailer: City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1)

Movie Trailers

I remember the day I picked up this book from the bookstore very clearly. A little unsure what genre I wanted to delve in, I asked a hip looking assistant to recommend me something. She took a look at me and pulled City of Bones off the shelf, saying: “You’ll like this, I’m sure of it.”

A little scared that she could read me like that and figure out that I would enjoy this specific book, I thanked her but placed the book back on the shelf as she walked away. I browsed through the other shelves but for some reason, this particular book kept drawing me back to it. I finally gave in and picked it up to read the blurb.

And thank god I did because I was drawn in immediately. And of course, I bought it. This was a few years ago, before hype for the paranormal genre went skyrocketing. I had no one to talk to about my love for Clary and Jace at all, so what did I do? Reread the book … over and over. My copy is a little worn out, and the spine looks cracked but those are all signs of a book that’s been loved.

I’m so excited that people out there share my love for City of Bones. I’ve seen the first trailer for the movie and I must admit, the actors really suit their parts better than I expected! But I wish Clary and her mum’s hair was a lot brighter, like it was described in the book. What do you think?

So remember, CoB fans, circle the date of the movie release (in your respective countries) in your calendars, because this is a film that should not be missed! I’m super excited, I hope you are too!
