Happy International Women’s Day everyone! I know we shouldn’t let a single day define ourselves as beautiful, but it’s nice to have a day to celebrate regardless. Today (or yesterday for my fellow Aussies) is about the celebration of what women can accomplish and has accomplished in our world so far. From Amelia Earhart to Angelina Jolie, we all have a role to play in the world – don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
I’d like to share with you guys one of the most empowering campaigns about inner beauty that I’ve come across. Women every day are being extremely critical on themselves. In one way, it’s positive when this criticism is driving you towards working harder and to succeed. But more often than not, these criticism are negative connotations on their own appearances. Over time, this negativity will cloud your mind, and prevent you from seeing your own beauty, like the way others see it. This is why I love, love, love the Dove Real Beauty campaign. Take a look below if you’ve never heard of this campaign before:
I hope you all have a beautiful day, and remember to love yourselves! *virtual hugs for everyone*
