I can be a notoriously messy person, but in an organised sort of way. I know where all my things are, but the way they’re placed is just messy to the uninformed eye.
Cleaning? Not my thing — but occasionally, I get these ‘sparks’ where I feel like doing a round of Spring cleaning. I have no idea why, but I guess my subconscious wants me to declutter the junk I have lying around.
Today, I felt like decluttering the bathroom, and oh boy you have no idea just how much useless items I threw away.
But of course, this is a book blog — so why the heck am I writing about cleaning? Well, the whole Spring clean was kind of a leeway between what I wanted to really discuss — audiobooks.
Some of you may know that I’ve become a HUGE fan of audiobooks lately due to time constraints. The weekend is short, and more often than not, reading is pushed aside because I have a million other things I have to do. Audiobooks have become a saviour of my TBR pile in this sense. It’s allowed me to read, and multitask at the same time.
While I did the overhaul of my bathroom today, I listened to Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers.
It was marvelous, being able to juggle two things at once, and not feeling guilty about my lack of reading/blogging lately.
What’s more, it sparked the idea for this discussion post!
Other than when I’m cleaning, I also multitask and listen to audiobooks on the train to work. Sometimes I listen while I cook, and at times even in the shower. I’m pretty much getting the hang of this multi-tasking down pat!
What about you? Do you multitask while listening to audiobooks?
