It’s been another busy week this week where I found myself being accepted for a FT job! Yay exciting! It’s going to be tough as I’ve never had a FT job before, and with uni resuming in two weeks, I’m going to have to learn to balance this new schedule. As I’m moving forward in my career, I’ve also had to say goodbye to my current PT job along with all the wonderful people I work with. I’m so sad to leave (not the job), but all the friends I’ve made behind. I also had to leave my Bloomsbury internship in order to fit in this new job. π
Thus, it was another slow week in the reading department for me, so I’m back with TST (#2)!
This week’s featured book isΒ The Intern by Gabrielle Tozer! Yay for Aussie authors!
Uno:
I raised my right hand, too scared to speak. (p. 26)
Dos:
That was until Eloise, impressed by my writing earlier in the day, floated my name with Liani. (p. 73)
Tres:
“Umm…” My usual verbal diarrhoea was zapped and I had no idea what he was going to say. (p. 188)
So what do you think? Does the book sound exciting so far?
