I obviously don’t do book hauls very often because I’m quite lazy (heh). But the main reason is because I’ve been putting a book buying ban (a triple B) on myself so my bank account will stop dwindling. And you know what, it actually works! Fortunately, my book appetite is being satisfied by some wonderful publishers (*bows down to them all*). I can never thank them enough for all the wonderful things they do for reading in general – but most importantly, for the book community.
As I’m heading back to uni in a week, my reading time will probably be cut down dramatically. Boo! That’s why I’m doing a haul just to say thank you to the publishers and to showcase what reviews will slowly be coming up (I promise they’ll all receive a review!).
This current haul only contains the books I’ve recently received and haven’t yet read and reviewed.
Nymph by Tonya Alexandra – published by Walker Books Australia
My Notorious Life by Kate Manning – published by Bloomsbury Australia
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini – published by Bloomsbury Australia
Secret by Brigid Kemmerer – published by Allen & Unwin Australia
Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller – published by Bloomsbury Australia
Thanks especially goes out to Bloomsbury Australia, for giving me the opportunity to intern with you. I know my stay was short, but I had so much fun working with the team and working behind the scenes in the book industry. And thank you most of all, for letting me raid your shelves.
What’s your haul like this week/month? Or are you also on a self-imposed triple B like me?
